 A Retro Battle of Kings

This is a retro-inspired digital chess variant that takes the ancient idea of chess beyond the traditional two-player battlefield. Designed with classic 8-bit graphics, pixel-art aesthetics, and old-school strategy-game charm, the game brings the feeling of discovering a forgotten chess game on an old home computer or cartridge back to life.

Instead of two players facing off across a standard chessboard, four players enter the battlefield simultaneously, creating a chaotic strategic contest where alliances, positioning, timing, and betrayal can completely change the course of a match. Free for all is a digital custom rendition of the middle aged Indian Chess Variant "Chaturaji" and the Teams version is a digital basic rendition of the Victorian era occult chess game "Enochian Chess". This current Repo has the VS CPU build. Online with casual and ranked soon!!
